Associate Merchandise Planner
FabFitFun is looking for an Associate Merchandise Planner to join our team! This role will contribute to the merchandise planning for relevant seasonal e-commerce flash sales and initiatives.
Location: FabFitFun is based in Beverly Hills, CA. This role will be expected to work onsite 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday) and will not be eligible for remote.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and manage complex reporting tools for Open to Buy, inventory, e-commerce sale set up, and sale analysis
- Complete ad hoc analysis and seasonal reporting to support category and total business
- Manages data integrity in multiple systems and maintains files to support larger merchandising team
- Owns end to end planning processes and works cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution
- Partners with internal planning team and cross functional counterparts to execute campaigns; supports and manages go-live preparation for ecomm and product subscriptions programs
- Support category planners in pre-season planning and in-season assortment management for ecomm and product subscription business; opportunity to own category independently as planner develops in role/dependent on prior experience
- Support team projects and new merchandising initiatives as needed
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising, Business, or related field
- 2-3 years merchandising experience, preferably in a merchandising Planning/Buying role
- Experience with Open to Buy a plus!
- Advanced capabilities in Excel and retail math required
- Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
- Effective communicator and comfortable in variety of presentation settings
- Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate them to drive results
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks to manage time
- Flexible mindset with ability to quickly pivot direction and priorities
- Strength in building effective and collaborative cross functional relationships
The expected compensation for this position is $65K-$70K. The compensation package will also include an initial equity grant, in addition to a range of generous medical, dental, vision and other perks & benefits. Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of job-related factors such as skill set, geographic location, market demands, experience, and education / certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications.
