Duties

• Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Assist with menu planning by preparing components needed for daily service
• Execute food preparation tasks efficiently to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
• Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
• Support catering events by preparing large quantities of menu items as required
• Serve food to guests or assist in plating dishes for service, ensuring presentation quality

Skills

• Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly advantageous
• Strong food handling and safety knowledge to ensure compliance with health standards
• Proven ability in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly in a restaurant or food industry setting
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in basic culinary techniques
• Experience with menu planning and catering operations is a plus
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to support seamless kitchen operations
